Some sailing events happening in Scotland which you can either take part in, or spectate from on land or at sea.
Brewin Dolphin Scottish Series 2010
28th - 31st May 2010
Annual regatta run by the Clyde Cruising Club and held at East Loch Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
Scottish Traditional Boat Festival 2010
26th - 27th June 2010
At Portsoy, Banff. The programme combines traditional boat building and restoration, the music of the sea, and knitting.
1st - 4th July 2010
A celebration of wooden boats based around the canal basin at Crinan with shoreside entertainment.
July 2011
Cruise on the west coast of Scotland which is based round visits to distilleries. Visit Oban Distillery, Talisker at Loch Harport on Skye, and Lagavulin on Islay. With plenty of time for sailing inbetween distillery visits you could also take in the delights of Tobermory, Loch Aline, Jura and more. For 2010 the Classic Malts Cruise has been cancelled to make way for the Clyde Cruising Club Centenary Cruise.
14th - 17th July 2010
In its 12th year in 2010. A festival based in Stornoway which provides educational displays, an opportunity of some tuition and the chance to sail in company from Loch Maddy, Loch Broom and Portree. Part of the Hebridean Celtic Festival.

A two day event based around the SECC, Science Centre and Tall Ship ‘Glenlee’ which has lots of family entertainment and a mixture of water and land based activities.
30th July - 6th August 2010
In its 63rd year this regatta provides passage racing and round the buoy racing on the West Coast around Oban and Mull. With competitive racing and a family orientated social scene this event provides something for everyone.
21st - 22nd August 2010
This annual festival of the sea is in its 14th year and based around Arbroath Harbour and its new marina.
August 2010
A week of racing including the Cumbrae’s Weekend, the Hems Kalis Two Handed Race, and the Hundred Guineas Race Series through the week.
